DMCA / Copyright Policy

Procedures for Reporting Claims of Copyright Infringement.

Volvose LLC ("The Company") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, Volvose LLC will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the G-Player Pro service that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

1. The "Mere Conduit" Defense

Before submitting a notice, please recognize that G-Player Pro does not host any content. We provide a software interface (Media Player). The content displayed is retrieved from external URLs entered by the user.

If you identify infringing content, simply removing the app will not remove the content from the internet. You must direct your Takedown Notice to the Hosting Provider (ISP) of the playlist URL/Server. However, we will act on valid requests to ban specific accounts if they are proven to be used for commercial infringement.

2. Notification of Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any material available through our software infringes your copyrights, please submit a Notice of Alleged Infringement containing the following elements (pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  • Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • Identify the material that is claimed to be infringing. CRITICAL: Since we do not host files, you must provide the User License ID (MAC Address) or the specific circumstance in which the software is facilitating the infringement. Providing a generic movie title is insufficient as we cannot search user playlists (Zero-Knowledge Privacy).
  • Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and professional email address.
  • Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  • Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  • Provide your physical or electronic signature.

4. Consequences of False Claims
WARNING: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be liable for any damages, including costs and attorneys' fees incurred by us or our users, if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material or activity is infringing. If you are unsure whether the material is infringing, please contact an attorney before submitting a notice.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Volvose LLC has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at Volvose LLC's sole discretion, license holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

If we receive valid Court Orders identifying a specific MAC address as a source of commercial piracy or re-streaming, we will permanently blacklist that device ID from our authentication servers.
