Welcome to the official G-Player Pro knowledge base. Here you will find everything you need to install, configure, and master your streaming experience.
Important Note
G-Player Pro is a media player. We do not provide any content, playlists, or subscriptions. You must have your own playlist from a legal provider.
Installation on FireStick
The most common way to install G-Player Pro on Amazon Fire TV Stick is using the "Downloader" app. Follow these steps carefully.
Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About. Click on "Fire TV Stick" 7 times rapidly until it says "You are a developer".
Go to the Amazon App Store (Search icon), type "Downloader", and install the orange app.
Open Downloader. In the URL box, type the following short-code to download the APK directly:
Once downloaded, click "Install". After installation, click "Open" to launch G-Player Pro.
Xtream Codes Setup
The Xtream Codes API is the most stable method to connect your IPTV service. It separates Live TV, Movies, and Series into categories automatically.
Required Information
You will need the following details from your provider:
- Server URL (e.g., http://line.example.com:80)
- Username
- Password
Connection Steps
1. Open G-Player Pro and select "Login with Xtream Codes API".
2. Enter a name for your playlist (e.g., "My TV").
3. Fill in the Username, Password, and URL fields exactly as provided.
4. Click "Add User". The app will now download channels, VOD, and EPG data. This may take 1-2 minutes.
Troubleshooting: Buffering
Buffering is usually caused by network instability or incorrect player settings. Try these solutions in order:
Solution A: Change Format
Go to Settings > Stream Format and switch from MPEG-TS to HLS. HLS handles network drops better.
Solution B: Buffer Size
Go to Settings > Player Options. Increase the Buffer size from "Small" to "Large" or "Auto".
Network Check
Ensure you are using a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection, not 2.4GHz. 4K streaming requires a stable speed of at least 25 Mbps.
Advanced Audio Settings
If you have no sound on certain channels, it is likely a codec issue (AC3/EAC3).
1. Navigate to Settings > External Player.
2. Click "Add VLC Player" (requires VLC app installed).
3. Long-press on the problematic channel and select "Play with > VLC".
